What is BO ID in Groww?

CDSL provides a distinct identification number for every users, this number is unique for for each broker/platform of a demat account holder. The unique Identifier is known as BO ID. BO ID also represents user's demat account number. As Groww is a depository participant of CDSL, a similar BO ID is provided in Groww.

BOID (Beneficial Owner Identification Number) is a 16 digit number that comprises of two parts, the first 8 numbers represent the DP ID or Depository Participant ID and the next 8 numbers represnt the client ID.

How to find BO Id in Groww?

GROWW customers can find BO ID by two ways:

1. Using Groww app

2. Using Grow Website
   

Get BO ID in Groww app

Step 1: Open Groww and login with your security code

Step 2: Click on your profile picture at the top

This step takes you to a detail menu

Step 3: Click on Account detials button

Step 4: Scroll down and look for "Demat Acc Number/BO ID"

You will find your BOID number here , You can directly copy your BOID number from the app by clicking on the copy Icon

Get BO ID using Groww website

Step 1: Login to your Groww dashboard

Following dashboard would be visible

Step 2: Click on your the dropdown arrow besides your profile picture and click on settings

Step 3: BO ID is available in the "Basic Details" section
