How to delete Groww account?

Read this before closing your Groww account:
Your PAN card can only be used once to open an account with Groww. Therefore, once you close your account with Groww, you won't be permitted to open a new account using the same PAN card again.
Before closing your Groww demat account, please make sure to sell all your shares, mutual funds, and other investments.
Step-by-step guide to delete Groww account
Step 1: Raising an account closure ticket
a. Log into Groww app and click on your profile picture on the top
b. Select "Customer Support 24X7" and write "close account" in the search bar
c. Open the "I want to close my search account" arcticle. Alternatively, you can also find the same article here >> I want to close my Groww account
d. Click on "Contact us" and then click on "Raise ticket"
Step 2: Submit account closure request.
a. In the text box that has appeared on your screen write" I want to clsoe my account". addiditonally you can alsoe mention the reason for closing account.
b. Optional, attach your adharcard and pan card photo by clicking on "Add screenshot"
c. Click "send"
Step 3: Accessing account closure form
a. After you have raised a ticket with Groww, you would recive two mails. The first mail is an automated reply to your ticket but the second mail is of our interest. This mail contains a link to account closure form.
b. Click on the close account link present in the mail :
c. Login using the email id registered with your Groww account
d. Enter your Groww pin.
e. Click on OK delete
f. Enter OTP recived on your registered mobile number
Step 4: eSign account closure form
a. After adding the OTP you would be prompted to finish signing of the closure form.
b. Click on "E-Sign to Finish" and accept terms & conditions
c. The closure form would appear. Check all the details on the clsoure form and click on "Sign Now".
d. In the next step you are redirected to NSDL's website.
e. Check the box that says " I hereby authorize NSDL infrastructure to use my Aadhar card..."
f. Add your aadhar card number and click send OTP
g. Enter OTP recived on your mobile phone linked with your aadhar card and click on "Verify OTP"
After completing the above procedures, your account has been submitted for closure. Your account will close completly in the next 24 or 48 hours
